Testimonials
When my son started Kindergarten in the Clark County School District, we just went along with what the school suggested. We made the assumption that they were the experts when it came to the education of children with Autism. Towards the end of the year, he began to have more melt downs at school and he started to regress in the area of speech and social skills. After investigating I found out that he had been assigned a new teacher. We received no notification from the school nor did the teacher call to introduce himself. In addition to that we learned that the school psychologist had written my son off as having "behavioral" problems and that he would be just fine in a Gen Ed. class for 1st grade!!
After speaking to Jeannie Hale, I learned that we in fact had rights and say so. She gave us the tools that we needed to attend his IEP and get results that we were seeking. If it were not for her resourcefulness and knowledge we would more than likely be in the same position with no understanding. She has definitely played a major role in putting our journey on the right path for my son to be successful!! Thank you Jeannie!
